Saumyamoorthi Thondaman Memorial Foundation

The Saumyamoorthi Thondaman Memorial Foundation was setup to venerate the memory of Late Mr. Saumyamoorthi Thondaman. This Foundation was formed on 15th June, 2005. The Foundation was established to uplift and promote the economic, social, cultural, educational, aesthetic and physical development of Sri Lankans. Vision To make available to the plantation community the wide advantages of the internet and intranet communication technologies. This will not only integrate into the project Educational, Social, Cultural and Civil activities of Plantation communities but also facilitate the use of technology as a catalyst in transforming the communities into a united and well informed and self sufficient society. Mission To achieve comprehensive, complete and overall socio economic development of the Plantation Community assisted by extensive application and use of Information Technology and the foundation intends to achieve this by making best possible use of the wide advantages of the Information and Communication Technology, through the committed involvement of all the stake holders.
